How far astray temptations beckon hence!
Saint Michael, Mary: Come to my defense!
The dragon, serpent, foes intimidate
They seek to drag me toward destructive fate
While energy and motivation fade
I ask you all the more to come and aid
This soul which longs to fill this life with Love
And reach that blest eternal Home above
